Burn This has just closed it's sell-out 11 show run in Toronto.

The show received great feedback from the audience and critics. Mooney On Theatre called it 'a finely wrought gem, glinting with sharp insights into loss, identity, passion and ambition'. Brief Take praised the shows site-specific nature (Gracemoon Arts converted an old garage/warehouse space into the set) and it's engaging intimacy.

'BURN THIS' HEADS TO TORONTO

After a sell-out workshop in Los Angeles, Burn This is heading to Toronto. The show will be Gracemoon Arts Company's inaugural production. Mark will be reprising his role as 'Burton' alongside Elyse Levesque as 'Anna', Ben Lewis as 'Larry' and Russell Sams as 'Pale'.

Burn This, Lanford Wilson’s masterpiece, ignites Warhol’s lower east side Manhattan during the 80’s, in the loft of newly deceased dancer, Robbie. In the wake of his sudden death, his roommates Anna, a choreographer, for whom Robbie served as muse and Larry, an ad executive are left behind, as raw and barren as the loft itself. Burton, Anna’s lover, a screenwriter facing his own deteriorating orbit adds to the smoldering grief. Into the mourning bursts Pale, Robbie’s older brother. The collision of loss, desire and betrayal fuels a sexually charged explosion that scorches everyone.

Burn This will be running 19 - 30 July (all shows 8PM, no show July 24) at Robbie's Loft, 190 McCaul Street, Toronto, ON M5T1W5, Canada. For more info visit gracemoon.org
